Showrooms & dealerships

Your showroom sells at 2am, or it sits dark.

A glazed showroom is a stage nobody is lighting. Transparent LED on the curtain wall runs the campaign after closing while the cars behind it stay in full view.

The vehicle behind the glass never disappears — that is the difference between transparent LED and a solid screen in the same opening.

The brief

What a transparent LED showroom install actually involves

Showroom curtain-wall glass is tall, often structural, and usually cannot be drilled. We hang transparent LED film on standoffs from the mullions or, for very large spans, frame mesh panels on their own structure inside the glass line. Neither touches the glazing seals.

Brightness is the real constraint: a west-facing showroom in afternoon sun needs 5,000+ nits to hold an image, while the same screen at night must dim to avoid blowing out the interior. Auto-brightness is not optional here — it is the spec.

Before you buy

Four things to check before glazing a showroom screen

Large glass and large budgets — these decide whether it works.

01

Can the mullions carry it?

Film is light, but a 20 m run still needs a load path. We calculate it against your frame rather than assuming the glass will cope.

02

How much afternoon sun?

West-facing glazing needs the top brightness tier and heat management. It is the difference between a screen you can read and an expensive shimmer.

03

What is behind the screen?

Transparent LED reads best with a darker interior behind it. Showrooms with bright white walls directly behind the glass need a higher-contrast grade.

04

Who makes the content?

Manufacturer brand assets are rarely cut for a 6:1 canvas. We flag the aspect ratio early so the marketing team is not re-editing the week before launch.

FAQ

Questions from this kind of project

Will the screen hide the cars?

No. At 55–95% transparency the vehicles stay visible through the content — which is exactly why dealerships choose transparent over a solid LED wall in the same opening. The comparison slider above is a like-for-like example.

Can it run when the showroom is closed?

Yes — that is the main return on the investment. Dayparted scheduling runs brand content during opening hours and dims to a night mode after closing, so the frontage keeps selling to passing traffic at a fraction of the power.

Does it interfere with the glazing warranty?

Standoff-mounted film and framed mesh attach to the structure rather than the glass or its seals, so the glazing warranty is normally unaffected. We put the mounting method in writing for your facilities team to check against their contract.

What size is realistic?

Showroom installs typically run 6–20 m wide across several bays. Beyond that we usually recommend breaking the canvas into two synchronised zones — cheaper to drive, and easier to keep bright and uniform.
