Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. It is how a site remembers something between one page and the next. Cookies cannot run programs, and they cannot read anything else on your computer.

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, and none until you sign up or sign in. There are no analytics, no advertising tags, no heatmaps, no session recording and no social media pixels, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Because these cookies are essential, the site does not ask before setting them:

• Customer sign-in (st_customer) — keeps you signed in to your account. It lasts 12 hours, or 30 days if you choose “Keep me signed in”, and is extended while you use the account; signing out removes it.
• Sign-up check (st_signup) — remembers for up to 24 hours that this browser created a new account, so the password you chose there is kept when you confirm your email address. It is removed once the address is confirmed.
• Staff sign-in (st_admin and st_device) — only for our own team in the admin area, set after they sign in.

They are set by this site itself, travel only over a secure connection, and cannot be read by scripts on the page.

A few small notes are kept in your browser's storage instead. They are never sent to us on their own, and none of them follows you around the web. Until you clear them:

• Your welcome discount code, after you claim it — so the project form can apply it for you.
• That you closed the welcome offer — so it does not show again for a while.
• That you have seen our cookie and privacy note — so it does not show again.
• While you are signed in: your initials and first name, so every page can show your account at once. It is removed when you sign out.

Only while the browser tab is open:

• In the agreement portal: the private link to your agreement, so a reload does not need the email link again. After you sign: the email address you confirmed and the name on the agreement, for up to six hours, so “Create my account” can fill them in — handed to the account page when you click it, and used there once.
• While you create an account: the email address waiting for its confirmation code.
• A photo you chose in “Show us your space” on its way to the project form, and a welcome code you removed from a request.
• For our own team only, on the pages that accept an invitation to the admin area or set a new password: the private link from the email, so a reload does not need it again. It is removed once the page has done its job.

You can clear all of it at any time: in most browsers, Settings → Privacy → clear site data. Clearing it signs you out.

Signing an agreement sets no extra cookie. What a signature records as evidence — the email code check, your IP address, your browser, the date and time and, only if you share it, your device's location — is set out in our Privacy Policy, under “When you sign an agreement online”.

To pay an installment, or to save a card for automatic payments, you go to Stripe's secure checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for example to prevent fraud; they are covered by Stripe's privacy and cookie policies.

If we ever add a cookie or a tag, this page will name it before it starts collecting anything, and the date at the top will change.
