What a corporate install actually involves
Lobby glass is typically frameless partition or facade glazing with limited fixing options, so we mount transparent LED film for glass to the head channel or a slim independent frame. Because the space is daylit, brightness and anti-glare treatment matter more here than raw pitch.
Content is usually a mix of brand film, wayfinding and live data — visitor welcomes, meeting-room status, ESG dashboards. That means integrating with your systems, so we scope the CMS and any API feeds during the survey, not after handover.

Four things to check before a lobby install
Corporate fit-outs have more stakeholders than any other project type.
Who signs it off?
Facilities, IT, brand and often the architect. Getting the mounting method and content plan in front of all four early saves months.
How much daylight?
Glazed lobbies are bright. Anti-glare treatment and auto-dimming keep content legible at noon without burning your eyes at 7pm.
What feeds the screen?
If it shows meeting rooms or live data, someone has to connect it. We scope the integration in the survey rather than discovering it at commissioning.
Acoustic sensitivity?
Lobbies echo. Fanless products only — a cooling fan behind a reception desk becomes a complaint within a week.

Questions from this kind of project
Can it show live data from our systems?
Yes. The CMS accepts scheduled media plus live web content, so meeting-room status, KPI dashboards, visitor welcomes and news feeds can all run in zones. We scope which systems are involved during the survey so integration is not a surprise at commissioning.
Will it be legible in a daylit lobby?
With the right spec, yes. Anti-glare treatment plus 1,500–3,000 nits with auto-dimming keeps content readable at midday and comfortable in the evening. Facing the screen away from direct window glare matters as much as the brightness figure.
Is it silent?
Film and fanless COB products run without any moving parts. In a hard-surfaced lobby that is not a nice-to-have — a fan behind the reception desk becomes a facilities complaint quickly.
Can we keep the architect's sightlines?
That is the reason to use transparent here. Daylight continues through the partition and the depth of the space is preserved, which is usually what makes the difference between an approved and a rejected proposal.
