Who we are

SmarTech LED Solutions supplies, installs and supports transparent LED displays across North America. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the quote form on this site we collect your name, company or shop address, work email, phone number, the product line or business type you selected, the glass or wall size, any project details you write, and any floor plan, elevation or photograph you choose to attach. We also record which page the enquiry was sent from, so we know what you were reading.

Everything on that form is optional except your name, work email and product line. Do not attach a document that contains personal information about other people unless you are entitled to share it.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare a written specification and budget range, and follow up about that project. That is the only reason we ask for it. Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is your consent — given by ticking the consent box — and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry and taking steps toward a contract at your request.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a quote request.

Who else handles it

We keep the list of companies that touch your data as short as we can:

• FormSubmit — receives the quote form and forwards it to our inbox. See their privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosts this website and serves its pages and server logs. See their privacy policy.
• Google — provides the advertising conversion tag described below. See their privacy policy.
• Our email provider — stores the enquiry once it reaches us, like any business email.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Because these providers operate internationally, your information may be processed outside your own country, including in the United States.

Cookies and advertising

This website runs Google Ads conversion tracking (tag AW-18398289249). If you reach us from one of our ads and then send an enquiry, it tells us which ad led to that contact, so we know which advertising is worth paying for. It sets cookies in your browser to do this, and Google may use them to show you our ads again on other sites.

You can turn off personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site works perfectly well without them. We run no other analytics and no other trackers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the opportunity is live and for up to three years afterwards, so we can pick up a project you come back to and honour warranty and specification history. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email business@smartechllc.tech and ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the right to know, delete and correct is yours, and you may use an authorised agent.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you additionally have the right to object to or restrict our processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, and the quote form is transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we do not keep your enquiry anywhere it does not need to be.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes — a new category of data, a new processor, anything to do with tracking — will be described here, not made quietly.
